CLASSIC WATCHES

A vintage timepiece languishing in the back of a drawer may have as significant a value as a relatively new watch, so it is always worth contacting us to find out. We value watches on the following criteria:

Brand. Leading names such as Rolex, Patek Phillipe, Breitling, Tag Heuer and  Omega tend to  generate stronger value than others.

Condition. Damage, such as scratches, and non-original replacement parts will detract from the value.

Model. Whether vintage or modern, limited edition and rare watches tend to be more sought after, so it essential your watch is assessed by one of our experts.

Provenance. It is helpful if your watch is still in the original box, but any paperwork, receipts or other documents testifying to its origins and subsequent history can add to its value as a lendable asset.

We also take into acount recent valuations and prices achieved for similar pieces at auction or via specialist dealers.
